At Auto-Roller, we’ve been celebrating #GroundsWeek in the best way we know how - by shining a spotlight on the incredible people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sport possible.
And honestly… what a response we had.

First of all, a massive thank you to everyone who took part in our #GroundsWeek competition.
Reading through your nominations, dedications, and stories was genuinely one of the highlights of our week. From early morning pitch prep to late-night repairs, it’s clear that grounds staff, volunteers, and club heroes are the backbone of sport at every level.
Your entries were thoughtful, heartfelt, and in many cases, truly moving. It was a real reminder of just how much passion, time, and care goes into maintaining the spaces where sport thrives.
