Spencer Bruerne Cricket Club Rolls Into Action!

There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching a cricket pitch being rolled — and Spencer Bruerne Cricket Club shared some fantastic footage of their Sponsor Roller in action!

As one of the winners of our Sponsor Roller competition, the club has exclusive use of an Auto-Roller for two seasons, and they’re making the most of it. The footage shows the Auto-Roller gliding smoothly across the pitch, preparing the surface to perfection for the season ahead. It’s almost like a victory lap before the first ball is even bowled!

We’re thrilled to see the roller already playing such an important role in the club’s preparations. While batsmen and bowlers often take centre stage on match day, the real unsung hero behind the scenes is the roller that quietly ensures the pitch is in top condition.

The Sponsor Roller initiative is all about supporting local clubs and providing them with the tools to care for their pitches.
